Letefoho, Timor-Leste
Roasted on 19th June and will arrive in our home beans coffee bag.
Back to Timor again for our latest Asian guest coffee. This farm is one of the most isolated groups that Karst Organics work with. In the past the farmers would have to hike 2km through thick forests to the nearest dirt road in order to sell coffee cherries daily to commercial buyers, for prices sometimes as low as $0.32c per kilo.
The community of Remagoa are now a fully thriving group of 8 coffee farmers who have been partnered with Karst for just over 3 years, producing fully washed, high altitude, shade grown coffee. What we’re tasting in the cup is Fig, Hazelnut and Guava.
